Diesel Mechanic

The role of the Diesel Mechanic is to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced environment. We’re seeking Techs who graduated from technical school, or who developed their skills through hands-on experience. Successful candidates should be motivated and enthusiastic about learning. 

Compensation and responsibilities are based on current certifications, job knowledge, relevant experience, and skill level.

Full and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

This is a day shift role Monday through Friday

  • Perform diagnostics on medium and heavy-duty vehicles
  • Repair various components which may include engines and other systems
  • Perform inspection and preventative maintenance services
  • Complete online training courses and/or attend instructor-led classes
  • Able to accurately document all work performed and parts used
  • Follow all safety practices and procedures

qualifications

  • Diesel technology degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 12 months of experience required
  • If no experience or a Tech Student, entry-level positions may be available (See our Lube Technician position)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must own at least a basic set of tools
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 115 pounds
  • CDL is a plus
